An Amber Alert issued Sunday morning for 2 younger kids allegedly kidnapped by their father in southern California has been canceled after the kids had been discovered secure.

Lilianna Acosta, 6, and her brother Elias Acosta, 2, had been reportedly taken by their father, Frank Acosta-Ortega, 27, Sunday morning in Riverside, in line with the California Freeway Patrol. 

CHP tweeted simply after 9:15 a.m. native time that the alert was deactivated.

Authorities informed KABC the kids had been discovered unhurt in San Bernardino. Authorities say an off-duty deputy acknowledged the suspect automobile.

The youngsters had been reportedly being reunited with their mom whereas Acosta-Ortega was arrested. The 27-year-old had been thought of armed and harmful.
