The indicators reflect the state of business activity in the national manufacturing and service industries based on surveys of purchasing and supply managers of leading national enterprises. At the same time, their attitude to the current economic situation and the prospects for its further development is assessed. If the index in the manufacturing sector rises from the current 46.5 points and in the service sector – from 53.7 points, it may support the pound.
