A person in Portland, Oregon, is being hailed as a great Samaritan for springing to motion after he helped free 20 drivers who had been stranded on an icy highway throughout a storm.
Alec Higley discovered himself caught on an icy Portland off-ramp throughout a near-record-setting snowstorm on Wednesday night time and known as his buddy, Jon Gilbert, who owns an auto store within the space, KGW-TV reported.
Gilbert loaded up his truck with tow straps and shackles and headed right down to the world the place Higley’s and 20 different vehicles had been caught.
“I had been sitting for about seven hours,” Higley stated. “[Gilbert] introduced meals. He’s a great man.”
